This objection has been around for a long time, and it’s still one that you’ll hear often. It surprises me that sales professionals get deflated when they hear this question.
As a high-achieving sales professional, I get excited when I hear that question, because it’s a buying question. There are two perspectives you can take- one perspective sees this as an obstacle, the other perspective sees this as an opportunity.
The customer is letting you know that they’re interested in buying, and if the deal is right, they will buy. This means, if you do your job right, they will buy!
